Healthcare

Healthcare costs are rising faster than wages, and too many Pennsylvania families are being forced to choose between paying medical bills, filling prescriptions, or covering everyday expenses. Bryan Allen believes healthcare should be more affordable, accessible, and focused on patients—not insurance companies and corporate profits.

As a public servant who has helped people navigate cuts to Medicare and Medicaid coverage, Bryan understands how devastating unexpected medical costs can be for working families and seniors living on fixed incomes. He believes Pennsylvania must do more to lower costs, protect care, and strengthen local healthcare services.

Bryan’s priorities include:

  • Lowering healthcare and prescription drug costs for working families and seniors by increasing transparency and accountability across the healthcare system.

  • Protecting access to quality local healthcare, including hospitals, urgent care centers, and community-based providers.

  • Defending reproductive healthcare access and personal medical freedom, ensuring patients and doctors—not politicians—make healthcare decisions.

  • Expanding mental health and addiction treatment services, including stronger support for recovery and community-based care programs.

  • Supporting healthcare workers and caregivers by strengthening workforce recruitment and retention efforts in hospitals, nursing homes, and care facilities.

  • Protecting seniors from skyrocketing medical and prescription costs, while preserving access to Medicare and long-term care services.

  • Improving access to preventative and primary care, helping families address health issues before they become emergencies.

  • Fighting insurance company practices that drive up costs or deny necessary care for patients and families.

Bryan believes healthcare should provide peace of mind—not financial stress. He will fight for practical solutions that lower costs, protect care, and ensure every family can access the healthcare they need close to home.
