Pennsylvania's divided state government is at stake in the upcoming midterm elections as Democrats aim to win the state Senate. Control of the state legislature will determine the fate of key policy issues like minimum wage, marijuana legalization, and abortion access. A party trifecta, where one party controls the governor's office and both legislative chambers, has been rare in recent Pennsylvania history.
